Terms of use
Last updated 1 September 2026
These terms cover using Red Bird Goals. Starting a tracker means accepting them. They are written to be read, not to be got past.
What the service is
Red Bird Goals records what the people at your club can do: levels, the skills under them, who is where, and the classes they are in. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a coaching qualification, a safeguarding system, a payment system or a substitute for your own judgement about anybody's ability or safety.
Who may open a tracker
You must be an adult, and authorised to act for the club, team or studio you are opening it for. The person who opens a tracker is its admin and can hand that role to others.
What you are responsible for
- The data you put in. You decide what to record about the people you teach. You are responsible for having whatever permission the law where you operate requires, for telling families what you keep and why, and for keeping it accurate.
- Content you bring with you. If you paste in or upload a syllabus, award scheme or list of skills that somebody else wrote, you are saying you have the right to use it. We do not check that, and it stays your responsibility.
- Who you let in. Keep passwords to yourself, give people the role they actually need, and remove accounts when somebody leaves.
- Links you hand out. Sign-up links and the shared leaderboard link work for anyone who has them. Both can be replaced at any time, which stops every copy already sent.
What we are responsible for
- Running the service and looking after the data you put in it, as described in our privacy notice.
- Using that data only to run the service. We do not sell it, mine it or hand it to anybody else.
- Deleting it when you ask.
The ready-made templates
The templates in the library are starting points, not official award schemes. Except where a template says otherwise on its face, the levels and skills in them were written for Red Bird Goals and are not anybody's published syllabus. Where a template names a real organisation, that is to say what it is not — naming a body does not mean it endorses, or is connected with, Red Bird Goals. Everything in a template is yours to rename, reorder, rewrite or delete once it is on your tracker.
Fair use
Do not use Red Bird Goals to store data you have no right to hold, to harass anybody, to break into it or another club's tracker, or to resell it as your own service. We can suspend or close a tracker that is being used this way.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up and the data safe, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Features may change or be withdrawn. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — every card prints, and an admin can export the whole tracker as a spreadsheet at any time.
Cost
Anything payable for Red Bird Goals is agreed with you directly. Nothing on this site is an offer of a particular price.
Ending it
You can close your tracker whenever you like, and its data goes with it. We can close a tracker that breaks these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering the service — and if we do, you will have the chance to export your data first.
Limits
Red Bird Goals is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything arising from data you chose to record, links you chose to hand out, or decisions you made using the information in the tracker.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and anything material will be told to the clubs affected.
